Club Day this Sunday 26 May.
Racing ANTI-CLOCKWISE direction. Convenors Greg Dietschin and Aaron de Ridder. Racing underway around 9:30. Duty classes are Rotax and Open. If you are competing in one of these classes, please make sure you get to the track in time to do your share before racing begins.....
This club day is the first round of the Kartsport Taranaki Winter Series and is kindly sponsored by Lone Star New Plymouth...cheers!
The track will be closed Monday 27 May to Friday 31 May as we lead into the Taranaki round of Goldstar 1st and 2nd June.
If you are looking to get some practise in on our track please join us for Club Day this weekend.
Go to the WPKA Goldstar page by clicking here, so you can download the entry form and book accommodation for the weekend of 1 & 2 June 2013! Remember, you must have done the 4 rounds to be eligible for the cash giveaways and allocated grid draws for the GP's. This is always a great event...and it's even better being held in "Taradise"!! Do it NOW while you are thinking about it....
At a recent meeting, the committee initiated an idea to survey our members who don't hold a racing license or compete to try and gain understanding why they don't race. We need some open and honest feedback from the 60-odd members who have gear and don't bring it to the track. It's not a witch-hunt, we just need to see if we can encourage members to come and join us. When you get rung by the surveyors or recieve the survey by email, please be honest so we can make some changes if we need to, as we want as many racing as possible. We look forward to your feedback...
If you have completed the survey, you can anonomously drop it in the box in the clubrooms, hand it to any committee member or email it to Steve and Donna Boyde at s-d.boyde@xtra.co.nz
If you didn't receive one by post or email....let Robert Boniface know (htbauto@xtra.co.nz, 027 5924210 or 7566900) to obtain a copy. Or you could download a copy by clicking below.
Don't forget to register for the Explore and Learn course which is scheduled for July 14 at Kartsport Taranaki this year. This is a great way for newcomers to the sport to get "up to speed" much quicker and knock big chunks of time off your laps!
Register by going to the Kartsport NZ website or by clicking here
